Change Log March 27th, 2024

What’s changed:

We’re excited to announce that our new and improved Format Editor interface is now generally available!

The legacy Format Editor was our first foray into this type of functionality, and we learned a lot from your feedback about its usefulness, and where it fell short. Equipped with this knowledge, we set out to build a better editor, one that makes it easier and more intuitive to craft your note format to reflect your specific progress note needs.

As they say, a picture is worth  a thousand words, so we’ve included a side by side shot of the old and updated editor experience below.

This new experience improves on the existing editing functionality, and also adds a couple, often requested, features.

You’ll still be able to…

  • Drag and drop to reorder the Steps within your note format.
  • Edit the details of a Step.
  • Disable or Enable Steps within your format.
  • Create your own custom Steps.

With the added benefit of…

  • Creating your own custom Blocks.
  • Drag and drop reordering of Blocks.
  • Being able to fully remove Steps and Blocks that you do not need.

For a walk through of this new experience, check out our demo video here, or login to Chronicler and try it out for yourself!
